If your mother really showed you love and affection

If your mother really showed you love and affection as a child you would not have to force affection for her and she should not demand it.  Most people relate to God as of she is this sort of mentally ill parent.

Now as an adult, now you MUST DO IT OUT OF DUTY, on the outside, out of fear, out of anxiety. The same is true for father.  If he really respected you as a child, you would respect him, but if he did not, well.  If your mother was immature then, borderline then, she is that way now if she never faced her issues. Why must she project her issues on you. Why must you continue to relate to God as if she is an uneducated, mentally  ill parent that makes infantilizing demands.   The real God is love.
